TC Pools offers comprehensive packages for both pool openings and closings


Standard Pool Opening $134+tax
Includes:
  Removal of all winter plugs and gizzmos
Install all drain plugs on equipment
Install light(s) if removed/skimmer basket(s)/return fitting(s)
Start up system/heater if possible
Visually check for leaks
 
  Install ladder(s) handrail(s) and diving board(if removed)  
Additional Charges
Opening Chemicals (2 lbs shock, algaecide, stain guard)
Open Spa using pool equipment
Open Spa using separate equipment
In-floor cleaning system
Remove and fold 1 mesh cover
Removal of additional pool cover
Clean salt generator cell
Clean cartridges
Emptying and packaging water bags per 1/2 hr
Removal of water/debris from pool cover per 1/2 hr
Water features per line

WHAT YOU DO BEFORE WE ARRIVE:
Have power to the pool equipment
Bring water up to operating level
Remove water/debris from pool cover
Leave ladders, handrails, return fittings, skimmer baskets, and accessories by side of pool

Includes:
  Drain pool equipment
Blow out and plug pool return and skimmer lines
Blow out and air lock bottom drain if possible
Antifreeze
Remove ladder(s) and handrail(s) if requested

WHAT YOU DO BEFORE WE ARRIVE:
Have power to the pool equipment
Have access to running water to fill water bags
Leave your winter cover, water bags, winter plugs/gizzmos, and accessories by the side of pool
Shut off pool timers
If using a mesh/tarp cover lower water level to 4"-6" below skimmer(s)


PLEASE REMEMBER:

  • Service technicians may, at their discretion, replace worn, damaged or missing parts which are necessary to properly winterize your pool, such as plugs, blowout extensions and cover anchors.
  • To schedule your pool opening or closing at least one week in advance and that while we try our best to arrive on your requested/scheduled date sometimes it is not always possible.
  • If you have special instructions and we have not winterized your pool in the past, or if you have a concrete pool, please let us know.
  • Any other service work must be pre-scheduled.
  • Do not put the winter cover on before the closing.
  • There is no warranty for pools closed after the first hard freeze.
  • Full payment is expected prior to, or at time of pool opening/closing.
